First Aid

| First Aid at Work (HSE Approved) This course is ideal for nominated first aiders in the workplace, or anyone requiring comprehensive first aid training, providing the skills to deal with first aid emergencies. |

| Emergency First Aid at Work (HSE Approved) This course is recommended for nominated emergency first aiders, in workplaces with lower health and safety risks. It is also ideal for anyone requiring a thorough one-day First Aid course. |

| Paediatric First Aid - 12 hour This course is designed for those working or volunteering in the childcare sector - from childminders to nursery and crèche workers. |

| Paediatric First Aid - 1 day This one day course is suitable for those involved in Childcare, such as parents, grandparents and guardians of children who would like to develop their skills in dealing with an emergency. This course does not cover the breadth of topics that are covered by the 12 hour course. |

| Annual Refresher - First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work This course is an opportunity for those first aiders with a current certificate to refresh their knowledge and practical skills. The Health and Safety Executive strongly recommends that candidates attend an Annual Refresher course while their certificate is valid. Course length - 3 hours |

Food Safety

| Level 2 HACCP This course is designed for persons employed in food and food related businesses that need to have an understanding of HACCP. It is particularly useful for those involved in the implementation and maintenance of HACCP and individuals who are, or intend to become, members of HACCP teams. |

| Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety in Catering This Level 3 qualification is designed principally for those who are, or intend to be, supervisors of food handlers within the catering and hospitality industry. Holders will gain a broad knowledge of food safety and food hygiene, enabling them to identify problem areas and recommend solutions. |

| Level 3 Award in HACCP in Catering Since 1 January 2006 the majority of food businesses are required to implement a documented food safety management system based on the Codex HACCP principles. This interactive Level 3 qualification covers the 7 HACCP principles and is designed for proprietors, managers and supervisors of small and medium sized catering businesses. |

Licensing/Door Supervisor/SIA

| Level 2 Award in Door Supervision If you want to work as a door supervisor in England and Wales, you need to have a licence issued by the Security Industry Authority (SIA), which was set up by the UK Government to regulate the private security industry, including door supervision. Without a licence, you cannot legally work on the door of licensed premises. |

| Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders (APLH) Licensing law in England and Wales states that anyone who authorises the sale of alcohol to the public must hold a personal licence. Those who wish to obtain a personal licence need to apply to their local authority. Applicants will be asked for a number of things to support their application; these will include proof that they hold a licensing qualification such as this one. |
