Manual Handling Risk Assessment - British Safety Council Level 2
Who should attend this course?
Managers and employees who have a responsibility for carrying out manual handling risk assessments. The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 require employers to assess any hazardous manual handling tasks that cannot be avoided and reduce the risk of injury, so far as is reasonably practicable.
Topics covered include;
- The manual handling risk assessment process
- Use of the MAC tool
Course delivery
Assessment is via a workplace-based manual handling risk assessment task which is delivered electronically to candidates.
Course duration
1 day
This course can be delivered as a half day session at Level 1, certificated by RT Training Services
