Who should attend this course?
This course has been developed as an annual update for candidates who have attended the full 3 day course, within the last 12 months.
Topics covered include;
- Risk assessment
- Principles of handling people in a care environment
- Assisting mobility
- Assisting people in chairs
- Assisting people in bed
- The use of handling aids and hoists
Course delivery
The course includes practical exercises and demonstrations and requires an element of physical activity.
