Who should attend this course?
This course is designed for those working within the care sector. In addition to Basic Life Support, the course is tailored to cover job-specific illnesses and injuries.
Topics covered include;
- Dealing with unconscious casualties
- Resuscitation (CPR)
- Wounds and bleeding
- Choking
- Infection control
- The importance of hand hygiene
- Other illnesses and injuries specific to the client or user group
Course delivery
Candidates will be subject to continuous assessment by the trainer.
